The Dianetics symbol is a triangle divided into four segments, representing each of the first four subdivisions of man's urge to survive (self, family, groups, species) which are delineated in Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. The triangle is the shape of the Greek letter delta. Each of the segments is green, symbolizing growth. The space between the segments is yellow, symbolizing life.
